    Hybrid Vinyl Gunite Pool Construction

When building in-ground pools in Massachusetts we are constantly battling the elements. Historically vinyl liner pools were built using a vermiculite pool base. Vermiculite bottoms are pourus and prone to washouts from ground water.

At Precision we use a different technique, instead of vermiculite we use a dry gunite grout mix. This allows us to get a smoother, firmer and more resistant pool base then a standard vermiculite vinyl liner pool.

It may be a little more work and a slightly higher cost but we feel it is the most important part of our construction process, and what seperates a vinyl pool by Precision Pool.

    3D Custom Pool Design Mock-ups

When transforming your backyard it can sometimes be hard to visualize the project to come. Thats why we provide our clients with a complete to scale 3D design mock-up of the project. We give you plenty of options and allow you to direct us where your backyard vision lies.

The design process comes once we have a plot plan of your property. One the benefits of this process is in helping you establish and keep to your project budget, by seeing the different elements on screen and being able to put a price to it.

It is at this stage in the process where we finalize shape, size and location of the pool, as well as the size of the pool patio and fencing. We can also draw in complimentary elements such as fire pit areas, outdoor kitchens, pool houses and more.

The Pool Is Just The Beginning

Its What You Do Around It That Makes The Project

The second part of your in-ground pool project and sometimes the bigger part of the project is the pool patio. We pride ourselves in being able to offer an in house hardscape construction crew installing the finest paver patio block for Techo-Bloc.

We not only do the pool deck, but fire pits, sitting walls, outdoor kitchens, and structural retaining walls. This means you can have the peace of mind of dealing with just one single company all the way through your project.

When Is The Best Time To Build a Pool?

If you’re thinking spring your thinking like 90% of the population. Many homeowners call in the early spring hoping to have a pool ready to swim that summer. Its hard to blame people for that thinking in Massachusetts and NH, as who out there is thinking of a pool when there is a foot of snow on the ground?

The process of researching, contracting, and building an in-ground pool is a long one, and the building season is short. This is why we recommend

      begining

the quote process in the fall for a pool you want built in the spring. It is always best to start calling and meeting with builders at least 2 seasons ahead of when you want the pool built.

This brings us back to the best time to BUILD a pool. The best time may be the fall. Nice dry weather, and no rush to beat the heat. At Precision we are building pools well into December and start up again as soon as the ground thaws. As our company has grown significantly over the last few years, we tend to book projects a good 3 months in advance. So keep that in mind when researching your project.
