Upgrade your old black poly lines to glued joint schedule 40 PVC plumbing. This will give you better flow, stronger connections and longer plumbing life. Black poly lines with barbed fittings and hose clamps are a thing of the past for a reason, loose connections can cause leaks and the black poly is almost impossible to pressure test for leak detection. Also upgrading to PVC pipe will allow for easier breakaway connections at the pool equipment area making your pool much easier to service and troubleshoot.
