Keep an eye on our pools salt level so you can be sure it never dips too low to produce chlorine in your pool. When the summer gets hot there is a lot of splash out, evaporation, and water loss from backwashing the filter. This dilution lowers the salt level in the pool.
Most salt water chlorine generators will tell you the salt level or at least let you know when it is getting low, however it is a good idea to have an independent way of testing your salt level to ensure proper function.
Be sure to follow the instructions on the bottle as the steps are a little different then your typical pool test strips.
