The Frog Smartclor System has revolutionized hot tub water sanitation. This system makes it easy to keep you water sanitized without having to worry about weekly shocking. If you have a Caldera hot tub the Smartclor @ease system is even better! Those manufacturers have built in holders for the Frog Smartclor cartridge and the Mineral Sanitizing cartridge. This means all your sanitation happens inside the spas plumbing.
The Smartclor cartridges are adjustable based on the size of your hot tub, they usually last between 3 and 4 weeks.
Each time you replace a smartchlor @ease chlorine cartridge you need to add a Jumpstart package to boost your initial chlorine level. From there the smartclor cartridge takes over.
