If you are looking for the ultimate hot tub cleaning solution then you have to try Total Clean Purge Gel. As we use our spa over the years biofilm and other organic materials can build up inside your hot tub’s plumbing.
This build up can cause you to use up your chlorine demand quickly. This means you will need a lot more chlorine to keep you water clear and sanitized. The biofilm buildup stuck to the inside of the PVC spa plumbing is almost impossible for the chlorine to breakdown.
The Total Clean Purge gel solves this problem. We recommend draining and re-filling your hot tub 3 times a year. 1 of those times each year we recommend a purge of your hot tub plumbing lines. We have used many of these jet purge products by far, but the Total Clean has by far been the best we have used out in the field.
Simple Instructions:
- Use 1 level tsp per 100 gallons of spa water.
- Remove filter cartridge and place in spa water
- run jets for 15 to 20 mins
- spa will foam up considerably
Once the spa is foaming it the purge is working. All the foam is digging out the biofilm and other organic material from your spa jets. After 15 minutes you can start draining your hot tub.
As the spa drains rinse the foam from the shell with a garden hose. We recommend using a wet/dry vac to vacuum up as much of the leftover water and foam as possible before re-filling the spa to prevent foaming when you start up the hot tub again.
Also be sure to thoroughly rinse your spa cartridges that we also cleaned with the purge solution.
Once your spa is filled and running again we recommend using the Hot Tub Serum Total Maintenance on a weekly basis to prevent biofilm buildup from taking over the plumbing and jetting in the future.
